I emailed my admissions counselor about leveling down from Calc BC to AB cause I HATE math. I got in EA so I know it’s smart to wait to get a response before changing your schedule cause one risks rescission but I really want to get out of that class before the difficulties and my laziness does too much damage? BTW, how much will this hurt me at other top schools. I’m a poli sci/humanties person. All my other classes are top level APs.

You could always call the Admissions office and ask to speak to the Rep on-call (or Rep of the day), who is an official Admissions Officer. Just make sure you get their name for your files. Ask your question, and if a favorable response (to you), follow-up with a letter (snail mail) to the offsite mail room to confirm the discussion.

they dont responde to mail, they shoulde emailed u bacl saying due to the high volume of mail they have they cant respond and just to call them instead

I assumed that emailing them would be to BC’s benefit, as they have time to process your response/question and not be forced to answer 50 questions from students. Guess I’m wrong.

Actually, they email back quickly. I emailed an admissions officer and he actually emailed me the same day.

I had the same experience as ch0iminy…in fact, the weekend before Christmas!
