How long does it take to "wake up your brain" ? On test days like SAT, wake up early?

On big tests like SAT you don’t want to be all fog brained, so when should one wake up for their minds to be at 100% performance?

SAT at 9am, probably shouldnt wake up at 8am an hour before like school

Maybe 6am?

7am with a little exercise?

Usually I sleep two hours more than my normal sleep duration. And it take about one to 2 hours to wake up my brain :P

I would just wake up early enough to eat, take a shower, and take a quick little practice CR section. Or math section. Whatever floats your boat. Just to get your mind in the SAT mindset :D

I operate best on around 6 hours of sleep. The only thing that I can think of that I did before the SATs to “wake up my brain” was to do mental math in my head.
