How Long Is One Year?

Hi,

I’m a homeschooled student applying to college this autumn, and most colleges require one year each of biology/chemistry etc.

How long is a one-year course - presumably they’re referring to the high school year, so how long is that, or what months is it generally between?

Thanks :).

2 semesters. usually september to mid january for the first semester and mid january to early/mid june for second

well my school follows a block schedule. We have four classes a day 84 minutes each. Seems bad but the perk is one semester=one year. It’s about 18 weeks.

five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinutes

sorry.
i had to.

180 days, that includes a week of midterms and almost two weeks of finals

Thanks for the replies ^^; now I have a better idea of how long to study for.

@TheGovernment: Heh, I had a feeling someone would make that joke. You share my sense of humour :)

As was said, one block semester course or a year-long non-block course.
