How Low Is Too Low?

<p>I am just wondering…if a person has an INCREDIBLE hook and good to decent stats, how low is too low for the SAT’s and SAT 2’s?</p>

<p>like once you get into the fives…is it just over?</p>

<p>I’d say that if you had an INCREDIBLE hook, the lowest your scores could be would be about an 1800-2000</p>

<p>It also depends how the points are spread. If you have 800, 400, 800 or some similar idea, that is probably more acceptable than 600, 800, 600.</p>

<p>i had exactly the same question yesterday- how low is too low? i think anything above 2000 should be fine if a person’s got AMAZING essays, ecs, recos and hooks!</p>

<p>what if you had an 1840 SAT (taken sophomore yr, no prep) but a 32 ACT?
They only look at highest between SAT and ACT, right?</p>

<p>j/k. well, if you’re a legacy or an athlete recruit or you have as they put an “amazing hook” then you MIGHT have a chance…but remember, schools still want to have their SAT rankings stand high in the US news crap. just being realistic here.</p>

<p>well…lol…i’m starring in a tv show that got picked up and will air this year. (not out yet) And helped out with family expenses and stuff for a couple years now with acting and stuff. lol don’t really want to say the show on here ; ). I just thought this would be an ‘AMAZING’ hook for princeton because they are trying to expand their arts program…aka 101 million dollar arts donation…so it fits ya know</p>
