<p>How many extra curriculars should i take my sophmore year? I want to get in a top college so i dont know how many ECs is the min. that they accept. And is it good to have leadership positions…like how do i become the leader/ in charge of a club?? Thanks.</p>

<p>if u have to ask “how do I become a leader?” u probably arent one</p>
<p>just join clubs that u feel u can be committed to…its better to commit like 5 hrs per week to one club than 1 hour per week to 5 different clubs…by showing committment to a club and dedication…thats how u will earn leadership…slowly rising through the ranks to leadership positions like officers</p>
<p>but if u join with the intention of gaining leadership…u wont be fooling anyone</p>
<p>Um, there isn’t a minimum number of EC’s you need to apply.</p>
<p>Any EC is good as long as you genuinely like it, and do good stuff with it.</p>
