I plan on attending an American University for my bachelors.
How many minimum years of total cost do I have to show to the visa interviewer?

I would not worry about this until you have actually been admitted. It’s not that easy. Someone else may give you the Visa information about budget. You have to be able to pay for 4 years minimum.
