I signed up for “Brain and Behavior” and now I’m starting to think I shouldn’t have. Anatomy and the like bothers me for some reason and makes me uncomfortable. I hated the anatomy and organ side of health class with a passion.

Should I drop it? I’ve got about 3 days until the add-drop period ends.

Is it needed for your major? Are you going to need to get used to anatomy for your major? If either is yes, then keep it and get over it. If it’s just for fun and you’re really an English major or something, then go ahead and drop since it’s not necessary and there’s no point making yourself miserable.

Based on the course name, I’m guessing it will have little to no anatomy, since behavioral neuroscience usually doesn’t. What do you mean by anatomy though? If you mean studying basic parts of the brain and functions, sure. If you mean in-depth brain anatomy the way a neuroscience major or med student might learn it, definitely not. Although it varies from school to school, so maybe email the professor?
