I’m trying to plan out my classes for the future (I’m in 9th grade right now) and I was wondering how much time is going to be put into preparing for PSAT and SAT and ACT? Is it difficult to have around 3 AP classes during junior year while preparing for it?
It can be a bit difficult, particularly if you take the SAT or ACT in May (I took the SAT in June after junior year, several weeks after my 3 AP exams so it wasn’t too bad). But you can greatly reduce the amount of prep needed by doing well in your classes, particularly English/reading and math.

Plan to take the SAT in Nov of 11th grade so all the prep for the PSAT will be fresh and help with your SAT. My D took the PSAT in 10th and 11th grade and the SAT in March of 10th Grade and Nov of 11th grade. She is currently in 11th grade and taking 6 AP Exams in May (plus stupid state EOC - STAAR exams) she is so thankful that her SATs were done well before AP crunch time!
