Well, I think I got a D in Pre-Calc right now and there is only 6 weeks left in the semester before final report cards are due and I have to bring that D to a C if I want to have a chance to get accepted to the universities that I apply to. I talk it over with my counselor of what I should do…for next semester. He said he will transfer me to Trignonmetry for second semester. I was just wondering is Trignonmetry almost as hard as Pre-Calc or is it easier?? My counselor told me that Trig should be a bit easier than Pre-Calc. I just want to be prepared. =]

Well in my school they just combine trig into pre-cal curriculum trust me trig is pretty easy and you really don’t need a separate class for it.

From what I understand, trig is pretty much pre-calculus except you don’t review algebra II and you don’t learn about limits.

I think Precalc is easier than trig. I have a solid 96 average in pre compared to my up and down grades last year in trig.

I still don’t understand how trig and precalc are separate classes. 0_o

Yeah, I live in NJ & my friend from GA says that Precalc & Trig are pretty much the same thing. I’m in Honors Precalc now and we’ve mainly been doing Trig, so I don’t know what I’m missing if Precalc=/=Trig, haha.

precalc is trig for the most part, the differences that you will experience are based on your school and we cannot help you there. Just harness yer skillz and start pwning tests.
