How much homework do you actually do at home?

A good 70% of my homework is done in the morning during homeroom, during study halls, or during other classes… I have become literally so terrible at willing myself to finish work at home.

Not much… But it is enough. I do some when I’m going home on transportation (no specifics needed :P) and then the rest at home. On the weekends I slowly do my work over time.

Most of it, unless I do it at Starbucks…I’m taking all college classes, so I don’t have homeroom/study halls/lunch at school. (Actually, my high school didn’t do homeroom either…is that weird?)

Depends on the workload. I usually get my Math homework and/or other easy assignments done during my study hall/TA period, or during other classes when we’re not doing anything (mostly IB Psych and IB History).

I usually go to the library during lunch, and complete most of said easy and Math assignments there too, if I haven’t already done them in those classes. So, on nights with minimal homework, I get most, if not all, of it done at school.

However, larger assignments, like projects, labs, essays, and English responses are done almost exclusively at home, with the exception of the morning before they’re due, when I proofread and touch them up a bit in the library before I print or submit them.

I used to be able to finish all my work while still at school. I can’t anymore. Mostly because in AP Chem I never know when things are due, because it’s so disorganized. So often (like right now) I suddenly have an AP Chem assignment to work on.

How little homework do you have that you can get that much of it done in a homeroom class? My school didn’t have homeroom, and I never had a study hall until last semester of my senior year, so it was all at home for me. (The purpose of that 3 day per week study hall senior year was to do homework for me online college math class, but I had so little time for sleep at night that it was generally spent napping for the full 45 minutes on a couch in our IB resource center.)

I almost never do homework at home anymore. I pretty much have no motivation to do any work when I get home, so I usually end up doing it all during my morning classes and lunch. So far it hasn’t been too much of a problem, but since it’s still the beginning of the year I’ll probably have to shorten the time I spend watching YouTube videos in a few months.

I always finish everything besides lit homework. Then I do the lit homework in Chinese/lunch because I hate lit and we get way too much.

Generally my homework load is like this (on average)

Lit > AP Gov > Bio > Alg. II > Engineering = Chinese (no homework)

But on some occasions I get an asston of bio/AP Gov homework, and on those nights I stay up till at least 1. With procrastination, of course

I focus a lot better at home, so the majority of my homework is done at home. I have plenty of time during school (TA period, seminar, 30 min in morning before classes start, etc) but can’t focus so not much gets done.

I’ve become the master of allocating homework time. I actually plan out what homework I can get done at school and what homework I actually need to do at home. I have a 4th and 5th period where I can get away with doing homework for other classes, so I tend not to stress about homework very much.
