How much is your school going to cost?

<p>I’m curious as to how much other CCers are planning to spend on their college for next year.</p>

<p>I’m asking the total amount for tuition + room + board.</p>

<p>I haven’t decided, but if I go to University at Buffalo I have to pay ~10k per year for room and board. But if I go to Udub I have to pay ~33k per year.</p>

<p>Loans don’t reduce your total… that’s not a real form of financial aid. You still have to pay them the money ;)</p>

<p>I’ll probably end up at a school like my sister’s, so $50 K. I may be able to get a bit more money than she did, so perhaps a bit less. My parents are really pushing for Yale and trying to keep their income under the limit so that they can get that 10% deal. But as if I’ll get into Yale.</p>

<p>My brother is going to a state school, he owes no money for next year other than $2,400 in subsidized stafford loans and he’s getting no merit aid or outside scholarships.</p>
