how much weight do senior year grades hold on admissions decisions?

My gpa through high school was a 3.5
my sat scores are m 690, cr 610, w 720

i did tons of volunteering all through high school

this marking period, i did very badly in a lot of classes. i have a 79 in AP bio, an 81 in AP psych, a 66 in trig (D: frick), and the rest are b’s/b+'s. an a in gym lol
stupid senioritis -___- also, i had no time to concentrate of work, i was going applications:(

so how much will these grades affect the decision the colleges i’m applying to? i’m applying to tcnj, drexel, usp, mcphs, and njit.

i already got into rutgers. do any of these schools look at mid year reports? i’m sending out my applications TOMORROW. i am just waitinf on one reccomendation and after that i am done with everything.

HELP? & what can i do to help the situation? i’m FREAKING OUT :(

They do count. Since colleges want to see a mid-year and final report. As long as you can maintain above a C your okay. But try to bring your grades up to at least a B-, the last thing you want is to fail senior year. I’m a senior also in battle with seniorities, but I do my work in the school library because I HAVE to concentrate there. I suggest you do it also.

Just definitely don’t fail any classes.

so if i do really well next marking period, i should be okay? i’ll probably do really well this MP in trig just because my ■■■■■ of a teacher is retiring (or maybe getting fired, idk) so my grade should go up. my grade in both bio and psych also went up thankfully. stupid trig D:

I think if you get in somewhere, you’re pretty much safe as long as you don’t get C’s/D’s your second semester. It would just be too much of a hassle for the school to rescind your application just for something as little as that.
