I wear it jeans and with somewhat casual style sweater dresses/tights/ moto boots.
I have two short leather coats. One is a winter white peplum and one is honey brown. I wear the white one way more than the brown one.

@emilybee That sounds cool. Do you keep the winter white jacket monochromatic with tops underneath?
Nope. I just throw it over whatever I’m wearing. Usually jeans & long tee. I also wear it with my little black dresses.
@gearmom - I am not the most fashion-forward person. 
I guess that is last season jacket… love it.

I agree, black leather jacket at any age. It would look really nice with white hair. On the other hand, I don’t like the idea of a leather pencil skirt on anyone over about 35. Just my view.
There are a lot of cheap, shiny leather skirts… we are not talking about them. 
Those do not look good on anyone.

A few years ago I was driving up to Montreal and stopped at a restaurant/gas station on the way. There happened to be a group of Hell’s Angels stopped at the same place at the same time. I found myself surrounded by guys in their 50’s with grey hair, grey beards, blue jeans, t-shirts, and black leather jackets. To me the look worked just fine.
My only safety concern at the time was that they would mistake me for one of them and expect me to go with them.
@BunsenBurner What do you mean you are not fashion forward. I rely on you guys for up to the date advice.

@emilybee you’ve got me thinking I need a winter white one, too! And @gearmom, don’t let @BunsenBurner tell you she is not up-to-date. Haven’t met IRL but am certain she is the epitome of chic.
Wear it at any age. Wear it well and most importantly wear it with confidence!
A leather jacket is timeless! I hope you have removed the tags and are enjoying your purchase.
(If you are worried about being age appropriate, I would stay away from skirts, pants, etc…)
I am wearing my very soft leather pants (J Brand). Scandalous, I know! I paid full price for them several years ago and have zero regrets. They are amazingly comfortable, just like leggings. Of course, they are paired with a long (and very cozy) Eileen Fisher sweater.

Yes, yes, yes…I bought my first black leather bomber jacket last year and love it. I don’t feel too old at all. I think black leather pants are fine, but would hesitate with a skirt.
