How prestigious is the Technology Student Association?

I’m not part of it or anything, but a few friends do it, and I’m a little curious as to how well it’ll hold up in college apps, especially in comparison to Debate in the NFL, DECA, and things like Girl Scouts and interning.

P.S. None of them have done well at the National level (never placed, I think), however our chapter has won the state championship several times in Virginia - apparently one year Virginia had most chapters by state, if that matters.

As far as I know, anybody can join TSA. None of those activities you list are prestigious, they’re just ECs. What matters is what you do in them.

Hmm… I guess I worded that wrong…
I meant like how much do colleges care if you were to win 1st place nationally in TSA vs. in DECA, Debate, or getting the Gold Medal in Girl Scouts.
I hope that makes sense.
