<p>OK Cheer, we all need to know. Did you cry, scream, or just break out in the biggest grin of your whole life?</p>
<p>Anyone know if the merit aid has a chance of being awarded AFTER one receives the inital offer of admission via snail mail? I received my admission letter today but there was no mention of any merit aid. This means I’m out of the running for merit aid, right?</p>
<p>At this point, I would have to say yes, you are correct. It would be extremely unusual for them to change a decision on merit aid at this stage. You would have to present them with some pertinent information they don’t already know, and I cannot imagine what that would be.</p>
<p>Well, I was actually at my doctors office when I happened to check the portal. I’m pretty sure everyone there thought I was insane. I sort of couldn’t breathe, and then I didn’t think it was real. So I logged in again and I saw the same ‘Congratulations’ message as I did before and then I started to cry. So then I texted all my friends and family. And when I got back to school there was so much celebrating. Dancing, singing, screaming, hugging, cupcakes. I don’t think I’ve been that excited since my surprise trip to Disney World in the sixth grade.</p>

<p>Cheer007 - I actually got goose bumps when I read you got in! As a parent I was so empathetic to your plight. This is great news for you and Tulane. You really stayed focused and positive during a very trying time. Congratulations and enjoy your success.</p>

Oh well, hopefully there are some better options out there for me when my other decisions start rolling in. Congrats to those who got in though!</p>

<p>If Tulane sends out decisions in waves, how come we only hear about it from one person or two on CC? I know that not every person applying to Tulane is on CC, obviously, but do you think we’d hear from more people each time decisions would be sent out? OR are decisions usually sent out individually? If you know what I mean. THANKS!</p>
<p>Jacccrazzi- Based on the responses I got on the “Who is Going to March Honors Weekend” thread, D2 assumed 10 kids were going to show up. Imagine her surprise when McAllister Auditorium was quite literally filled to capacity. I know it feels like everyone is on CC, but really it’s just us neurotics!</p>

<p>Tulane’s Twitter just posted a blog about being waitlisted. The first line of the article is “Well it is official; most of our decisions for the class of 2017 have been sent out.”</p>
<p>Um… it doesn’t seem like many people on here have their decisions. I dont know what to think of this. Anyone else?</p>
<p>Trojan13: I’m with you on this one. Son still waiting to hear from EA deferral. Ours still reads deferred to RD; should hear by April 1st. He contacted his advisor and she was out of town and said that she is still reviewing this week and that he should hear by next week sometime I think. His screen has been blank, then back to same message, then blank, then maintenance and so on…still hanging in there…</p>
<p>This morning it read Pending review. Just logged in now and it is blank. What’s up???</p>
