How to combat laziness?

I’m not sure if Senioritis is the cause of my recent laziness or not but I’m worried about my grades; they have been decreasing lately. My AP Stats grade is 90.7, which is really close to a B, and I have about 90 in AP Calculus BC right now (the tests are so freaking hard - I have never struggled even a bit in math before) because I bombed today’s test (probably got a C). I cannot, for certain reasons, get a single B this semester, and preferably no A- either. Math is always my strongest points. What’s wrong with me?

What should I do?

Surf the web.

I dunno focus or do things that get you focused. Like procrastinate till the stress makes you do your work.

Also let’s remember, your complaining about having an A

I quit playing XBOX. (I don’t know if you play video games, lol)
Left 4 Dead 2 still haunts me…

I don’t play games, fortunately.

This is happening to me too. I think what we have is a case of bad senioritis. A lot of other kids are having the same problems we are probably burned out. Either that or our neurons are slowly degenerating making us stupider. I don’t even think I am doing bad because of laziness anymore, making the latter theory very possible.

Listen to metal, that’s the only way I get anything done. I’m getting wrecked in AP statistics though.

I’ve discovered that I work best when I’m not at home, like if I go to the library or to a coffee shop.

Welllllll what I do is stay up all night and don’t let myself sleep until the work’s done.
But I don’t know, I tend to work best when the deadline’s right up close.

I don’t know how you best perform so I can’t give you very much help… :frowning:
Tell us some more?

uurggh.
for some reason my grades are worst now too.
only i’m a junior. i should care more. good grades -> good GPA -> good college -> good money.
last 2 years it motivated me… now my GPA is low…

sometimes skype motivates me.
or just trying to get interested in that…

exercise!!! Although it sounds contradictory, it helps circulate your blood so you won’t feel lazy and tired. I play tennis till 4pm (after school) and I have tons of energy after I get home. Just don’t exercise to exhaustion (which I’ve done before).

Succumb to the darkness…

First off, your grammar, and second, because you’d rather ask people how to get yourself to study math homework rather than study math homework.

Oh big whoop; I accidentally added an “s” after “point.”

I never studied for math before and did just fine.
