“RANDOM much? haha. well i don’t pity homeless people either!”

:) haha

no that wasn’t the main point. The point was that she just bought over $100 of M.A.C makeup and then told the lady she couldn’t buy her a roll of toilet paper because they are “financially troubled too” right now.

I have a friend who sounds similiar although not as serious, she has to buy the most expensive, in fashion clothes, phones, whatnot. Anyway you should try to look past those things even though it will be hard if she constantly talks about her clothes and shoes all the time.
Wartsandall made a really good suggestion, you should definitely, I mean definitely, volunteer someplace, like a soup kitchen, even at a summer camp, a hospital, animal shelter. You meet a lot of new people that are different, like not your ordinary classmates.

Thanks for the advice.

I asked if she wanted to volunteer with me…she said no.

You got a laptop for your birthday. Hate to break it to you, but you’re both spoiled. She’s just a materialistic no soul on top of being spoiled.

I never said I wasn’t spoiled. I got my grandpa’s old laptop for my birthday because my parents were happy with my volunteering hours and grades for the year and I always had to borrow their computer for school work. This is my first own computer.

Just because I got a laptop doesn’t mean you know me and my situation. You shouldn’t be rude and call me spoiled if you have no idea about my life.

bump (10char)

just found this thread… how’s it going with your friend?
