how to expand social life

I’m very shy.
I’m afraid of talking to others who I just meet.
It’s hard for me to talk first. But I want to change.
I want to have more friends.
I wish I can become more active.

I also want to acquaint others and my life circle is so small
I have no time to join clubs or some groups like this because my heavy assighments!!!
Hold the chance when you have the chance talk others who you don’t know before.

Play WoW. I hear you make plenty of friends.

Be yourself. Don’t try too hard because that can turn people off

I’m pretty much shy myself. But I try my best to be friendly to people when they initiate a conversation. When people invite you to places – like the dining hall to eat or library to hang out – say yes! Don’t make any lame excuses (unless you have a major exam the next day or something).

Second the WoW idea. I hear Starcraft has a high Korean population. Maybe some DoTa?

thx for advices
i’ll think about how to do

U can get a part time job at places like burger king, mcdonald or other stores that have workers in your age group. You will surely meet someone to become friend with

i see what you did there.

yeah go with a priest because you’ll always get invites to instances (and make friends!) because there are like hardly any priests…

i recommemend undead priest, go shadow spec to level then holy/disc spec when ur lvl60 or whatever it is these days

Drink, then you’ll be more outgoing.

I wouldn’t suggest drinking as a means to be more outgoing.

I would say that to be more outgoing and have more friends, you need to make times for the things that you don’t or normally wouldn’t do (clubs, service, study groups, etc.). Have you ever considered going Greek to meet friends? This can reduce campus size and really create some great relationships.

I would suggest trying to raise your confidence and talk to people. Volunteer with friends to make connections, and always be open to having relationships with people that are different.
