By the time I fill in the Current Year Courses on Common Application,
I need to submit my credit number after my courses stated. Since only grades (like A, B, etc) will be indicated in the results of Alevel, then I feel confused that there is no credit number indicated in British Alevel exams.
I don’t know what to do…
Just fill in the predicted Alevel grades I am gonna get?
Or…
Could anyone help me with such kind of thing?
Thank you!!

Most American students would fill in 1 for a full-year course and .5 for a half-year course. When I applied I gave them the number of hours that each class met per week (it varied from 2 to 5), but that may not apply to you.

I suggest you give them a number that corresponds to how much time you spend on each course relative to the others. Don’t be afraid to fill in 1 everywhere if every class is meeting for the same amount of time. Or put down 0 next to each course to indicate that there are no credit values assigned. The admission folks know how the British A-level system works and won’t care either way. Whatever you do, just don’t write down your grades - they go onto your school report.

Oic…
Under my impression the credits of US high school students were the grades they got from exams…
Now I see what it means.
Thank you!
