how to get to UB from greyhound stop?

<p>so, i’ll be traveling from nyc to UB for orientation and i have no idea how to get there from the greyhound bus stop. I’ll be taking greyhound to Buffalo,NY. Does anyone know how to get from the bus stop to main campus? thanks</p>

<p>If it’s the greyhound station on Ellicott St (that’s where Google shows it is), walk a block west to Main Street, where there is an above-ground subway line. Purchase a ticket (you will be going outside the free fare zone) to University, the northernmost stop, and take the train to there. That will take you to UB South Campus. Then ascend from the station (the train is underground at this end) to the bus loop and take a UB Stampede bus to North Campus.</p>

<p>If you are arriving at the Ellicott Street Greyhound station, these are the direction:</p>

<p>When you arrive, leave the station using the entrance/exit that is right by the restrooms and the subway ticket vending machine (do not buy your subway ticket using that machine)</p>

<p>When you exit the station, turn right and walk straight. Walk a block or so and you will see rail tracks. Do not cross the street once you see the tracks. Just turn right again and you will see subway ticket machines. Buy your ticket there and wait for the subway to come.If you are bringing a suitcase, you might want to wait for the subway on the platform.</p>

<p>Once you are on the subway, take it all the way to the last stop which is called University Station. From there, take the escalator up to the station. Walk by the ticket machines there and go right to take the elevator or staircase. Exit there and you will see the south campus health science library (it is a huge building) and here’s a picture</p>

<p>Go straight towards the direction where the building is and you will see a bus stop at the loop. Wait there for a shuttle bus (the UB Stampede) to take you to north campus and you do not need to pay!)</p>

<p>The bus will go straight to Capen Library first, then Governor’s resident hall, the Student Union and then Ellicott Complex where the dorms are also at.</p>

<p>During the regular semester, buses from the South stop at the Student Union as their last stop during the day and goes to Ellicott Complex during the evenings. Since the Stampede is running on summer schedule right, ask the bus driver.</p>
