Hello, I’m a student who was deferred from both of her reach schools, Spelman College in Atlanta and UNCW. I don’t know if I should continue to show interest because prior to getting deferred, I got accepted into my dream school, Meredith College, in Raleigh, NC. Additionally, I had two safeties, UNCG and NCCU that I was accepted into before I was accepted into Meredith. The more I think about it, the more I lose interest in the schools that I was deferred from. I feel that I don’t have much more info to give because I’m done with testing and cannot think of any more recommenders. If I send only my senior year grades, that probably won’t be enough for them to make a final decision. Should I continue to show interest in my reaches, or should I just claim Meredith as mine?

I’m a bit confused as to your terminology. If you got into your dream school … why would you not go there?
Um. If your dream school is Meredith College, and you got into it…

@FlaParent Meredith is a private school, and costs a LOT of money. Even though I was offered half tuition for all four years, something in me believes that I won’t perform well enough to keep it.
