I get so stressed during the school year with homework and planning events for the club I run. This year I’ve got to prepare for standardized tests and also make time for volunteer work. I know it can all be done but I’m always scared that I’m going to miss a due date and it stresses me out so badly. One of my problems is that I rarely take time to relax. I’m so sick of being stressed out all the time though. How can I actually enjoy my school year this year?

Plan your time better. Write down the due dates if you’re concerned about missing something. And as for enjoying the school year… I don’t know, you tell me. It helps to do activities you like, hang out with friends, rant about your teachers, etc. But there are always going to be days when you just want to crawl into a hole and die.

Finish of today’s homework. Then look ahead to see if there are any minor assignments due some other time and finish that off too. Any quizzes over stuff you don’t understand? Read about the things you don’t understand for 5-10 mins. Then work a little bit on major assignments. Then, do standardized preparation stuff.
