How to put this....

So I’m going out with this guy. He’s my neighbor and he comes over like ALL THE TIME. I’m usually a pretty social person, but in summer I want to /relax/ and get away from people. He also claims he loves me and I don’t have the heart to tell him its just infatuation. He likes me WAY[WAYWAYWAY] more than i like him. He’s been growing on me though. He’s like 16/17 and I turned 14 in May. [age difference= he’s not v. mature so I wouldn’t put to much into that.] He’s always trying to impress me with his stories of hw many like violent situations he was in/got out of [trying to say he’s like ‘the better man by avoiding altercations and defending honor]. He’s really very into me [not a euphemism] and thinks he’s smooth. -> One o’ those guys who uses the word ‘boo’ as an affectionate nickname. :P

How should I tell him to back off a bit, but not offend him in the process.

tell him you’re on your period.

that’s awkward. my mom suggested that lol.

but I mean like tell him to not be so clingy.

lol, or you could tell him the truth. Be all like: “yo! u all up in my space, back up a little, ok thanks”

that should work

^^awkward enough for him to not stick around.

Ask him if he feels weird that before last May, any “contact” between you two is considered statutory rape.

Run away, fast. :P

Hey boo, I love you, and I hope you love me, too.

It sounds like no matter what way you put it, its going to hit this guy hard. So just do it as quickly and ‘nicely’ as you can.

Tell him under law, your not old enough for him

Tell him “You’re the best friend I ever had.”

Just lie back and let nature do it’s thing
