For an average Indian student, What should the strategy to prepare for SAT when they have 4 months in hand.

Ever given SAT before? Are you starting from scratch?

My favorite strategy is to just rush a ton of practice tests. The sheer practice will hard-wire your brain to the SaT. I’d recommend the SAT official study guide which has 10 practice tests and the Princeton Review one which has 11. If you’re struggling on a specific subject, go for the Barron’s workbook for that subject. Barron’s is known for being harder than most books and that’ll prepare you even more.

@seamon :- I took it once in january this year. I score 480 in CR, 530 in Writing and 800 in Maths. Maths has always been easier for Indian students, but english turns out to be a headache. Its like groping in the dark.

@JonConneryl : Thanks.

There’s only one formula for SAT…
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE like Hell
