How to spend the summer?

I am a little involved in the prep school forums and this is my first post in the high school life forum. Anyway, summer is coming up soon, just a little bit more than 3 months from now, and I have to plan out my summer more complex than other students, being an international student and all.
Back on the track, my parents are making me spend a month prepping for the SAT for 4 hours every weekdays, twice a week clarinet tutor, and on weekends 4 hours of art classes. I am already scared of this crazy schedule. Should I tell my parents hold back for another year, or would this be worth it?

Tell your parents to chill. That schedule is ridiculous and will likely lead to burnout.

Unless you are passionate about music and art, this schedule will not benefit you (excluding the SAT part, which could be helpful depending on what kind of study-er you are). You should never feel scared to spend hours working on something you’re interested in, and only when you’re truly invested in an activity can you find real success. Try to get an idea of what you want, then go and make it happen!
