Unless you are a kicker, you’re chances of playing american football in the NFL are very, very, very, slim. You will be competing against athletes who have been training for years to win spots on college teams. Only a very small percentage of college football players make it to the NFL.

Find a college that plays Division III football and try out for the team as a walk-on.
Also some cities have an indoor football league with open tryouts.
