What programs would be most beneficial to spend during the summer (as a rising senior) that could help strength of my extracurricular activities if I want to apply for the LSM program for ED?

I’m an international student so there are some of the programs that I’m not allowed to do such as the Siemens Competition.

It would be really thankful if you guys could suggest me a few prestigious programs that does not require a green card or US citizenship that could help me in admissions for LSM.
Thanks :)

do something that is fun and makes u happy
and drink some brewskis

do research in biology or intern at some business. research is not a program though…although you could find a research program.

personally, i’d just enjoy my summer and do something fun. don’t waste an entire summer trying to impress adcoms. if you do enjoy bio and business, then by all means, find something that relates to those fields and go all out. just have fun. that’s the most important part.

Yeah I want to have fun during summer too, but I think that it’s a better experience to do some kind of research or science related programs, since I’m interested in that.
Can you name any programs though? cuz I want to see what other things that I could do that might interest me.

i would spend my summer hanging out with friends…there’ll be enough time to work during college

GOVIE!!! Become a govie. Go to PA Gov School – well if you live in PA. Lol. If not, just do whatever you think will be fun for you. Don’t stress too much; school stays in school. passions are outside (except for those creepy PDAers).

as a college student i can now say i wish i had worked and saved some money during the summers

i did research / worked at penn and made $. it’s not an actual program but a job and opporutnity… so many of my friends were also there, so it was a grand time.

international student? do you live in the US? if you’re a resident of a state (no need to be a citizen of the US), definitely check out the governor’s schools. they’re very, very good.

taxbreaker you know rendells cutting the gov school program right?
