How to word somewhat exclusive program? "1 of 15"?

My hs junior daughter is creating a resume and she’s in two programs that are selective. How do you word that without sounding clumsy?

Is “1 of 20 invited to [summer-long scholar program]…” or “1 of 5 recruited to…” ok?

And then for non-selective programs she just leaves off the 1 of xx part?

I think that would be fine.

Or you could just note “competitive selection process.”

Wouldn’t listing the name of the program be enough? I mean if it is that selective, it might be known to the adcoms.

My kid was one of 7 admitted to a summer program where hundreds auditioned for seats. We didn’t list the number…just the name of the program which spoke for itself.

I would think there are many programs that are selective, i.e., that many apply to, that require interviews, etc., that may be local things that they adcoms would not know are selective. For example, my D served in a leadership program with the local YMCA that had many applicants but I think about 20 kids were chosen. I wouldn’t expect an adcom to necessarily know that it was competitive. Either way, I think what the OP proposed would work.
