How Will You Spend Tomorrow??? (November 3rd)

And for those of you watching the horse race here in PA, supposedly 1.4 million absentee ballots yet to be counted. The ratio of those being sent out was approx 2/1 D/R. The current “lead” by the front horse is roughly 6-700K. How many voted true to party and what are the specific numbers vs “approx?”

Get out the popcorn.

I’m watching emails for my guy again - and when not - will be out cutting back our Peony bushes, then puttering around outside. It’s supposed to be an absolutely gorgeous day here.

Sun did rise this morning. As it always has on day after. Beautiful weather day here. Bright sun, clear skies and temps in the 60s. Good day to take a long walk outside.

Like most people in this country I am working. I will take a long walk today and look at the ocean and remember that no matter who is elected I must get up everyday and be thankful that I am alive and able to work and provide for my family when so many others are not as fortunate.

Creek land, I’ve watched the county where I grew up and still have friends there (Montgomery Co.).
I was so pleased with the Steelers generosity Towards the poll counters. That was a truly nice gesture.

And the next morning after. Definitely makes one feel sort of important to be in PA. I assume it’s the same in other states still counting. It’s nice not seeing any more election commercials! I have to wonder what else is going on in the world if I just watch local/US news. Glad I have BBC.

Today I’ve already been out unwrapping hay in the pastures in prep for our trip to have “Thanksgiving” (different day) with our med school boy. It looks like another gorgeous day here today. Our pond was reflecting the trees/sky picture perfectly - like a puzzle picture. Later I plan to get more walking/enjoying the weather time in. (And laundry…bummer that those menial things still have to happen!)

I’m in the land of Where Time Stood Still. It’s still November 3rd, here…

Listened to XM Radio instead of the news in the car, and realized that Chet Atkins recorded Yackety Axe decades ago and somehow I had never heard it until today. Great soundtrack for much of what is going on this week.

Need more popcorn. Ice cream is good too.

Looking forward to the next few days of continuing terrific weather.

Apparently alcohol and snacks have been common coping mechanisms:
