How woke is Choate? Is it just the administration or is the science curriculum also progressive?

My guess is that the issue may have more to do with XX equals girl and XY equals boy type of thing, which obviously most actual real scientists understand is a gross oversimplification of the complex topics of sex and gender, but nonetheless some find this sort of simplicity comforting and don’t want to hear anything else so they write it off as a “woke agenda” rather than evidence that science topics tend to get more complicated as you progress beyond a middle school curriculum.

What do you mean by the term “woke”? Prior to being co-opted by the right, it meant to be aware of black issues. Now, at Choate, along with most BS, kids are taught to critically think and are challenged to look at all sides of an argument, in order to form an opinion and to be able to defend that position in the face of all evidence. They are not spoon feed information to be regurgitated.
