How's Your School District Doing?

<p>My school district is pretty successful, but we got defeated in the levy, so unfortunately we have to cut back, and my biggest nightmare just happened :(</p>

<p>My biggest nightmare… $150 to play sports for a season. ***? That’s a lot, and I run XC and track so that’s $300 in one year! This is unfair because some people like me might not be able to afford that, well once I tell my parents they are gonna go on a rampage. I don’t have a job because I’m busy with school and sports.</p>

<p>We have to either cough up $300 every year or get equivalent in sponsorships to pay for our pads every year. Summer camp is like $120 and we have several fundraisers throughout the year. That is the norm, recession or not. Also, last year, we had to pay for our summer school. The rate was like $175 per semester.</p>
