“Could be. Or maybe she was too busy raising their children.”

Well, by the time his NBC show became a hit, his kids were essentially all grown up. Certainly the oldest daughter was an adult, and I think that the (late) son Ennis was of age or close to it. I believe that there are a couple of more daughters but I am not sure of their ages. My point is, if he drugged B. Johnson in the mid-1980s, the kids were on their way out of the Cosby household, so how busy with them could Mrs. Cosby have been?

Some reports make it seem to me that he had a violent temper unlike his public image. Doesn’t that open up the possibility that his wife was a victim of domestic abuse?

I think there’s more that may come out about how he treated her. Maybe one of their DD’s will spill. I doubt that he treated her well, when he seems to have little regard for women in general.

public accusations have been made for at least 10years?
I’m sure if Camille waits a little longer she can come with something a bit more believable.
This makes it sound like she’s piggybacking onto how
Rolling Stone published a story without due diligence.

So, Mrs. Camile Cosby now shares her opinion (complaints) about the Rolling Stone article and compares it to news reports about her husband. Well, that settles it, doesn’t it? I’m convinced. NOT!

All that money and the Cosbys still can’t afford better PR people.

What I find most despicable is that Cosby himself refuses to speak publicly or even give a statement. Instead he puts his wife and daughter out there to defend him, hiding behind them. He is a true coward. Be man enough to get up in front of the cameras and either defend yourself or beg forgiveness. I really dislike this man.

Stephen Collins played the role of the pastor in the TV series 7th Heaven. Many people say that’s the series where Jessica Biel got her first major public recognition role.

Regarding why Cosby is not making statements himself, his lawyers have probably advised him not to. The statute of limitations has likely run for any civil claims the victims may have. If Cosby publicly denies the allegations – thus calling the accusers liars – he opens himself up to liability for defamation. It is a way around the statute of limitations, if the goal is to bring Cosby to trial on these issues. At least one victim has already filed a defamation case. He arguably shields himself from defamation claims by having others defend him, since he is then making no defamatory public statement. Ironically, his best defense to a defamation claim may well be that no one believes his denials and thus the victims suffer no harm to their reputation by Cosby’s claims that they are lying.
