I can't contact the US Embassy to make a visa appointment

<p>I’m trying to contact the US Embassy in London to arrange a visa interview.</p>

<p>But the phone numbers they have listed on their website I can’t get through to.</p>

<p>Two numbers don’t even work the line just goes dead.</p>

<p>And the other number which is for the switch board I have been calling for 2 days but it just rings and no one picks up.</p>

<p>You can’t go to the embassy without an appointment or make an appointment in person.</p>

<p>I can’t apply by mail as that is for special circumstances only.</p>

<p>I need a visa urgently as I leave on 29th July</p>

<p>I can’t find an e-mail adress to tell them the problems I’m having.</p>

<p>What am I supposed to do if I can’t contact them?</p>

<p>contact your school’s international student office…there might be people there that can help you. also maybe the admissions office?</p>

<p>You probably sorted out the problem by now, but you have to ring a premium rate line to book visa interviews in London, and it’s possible you weren’t getting through because such numbers were blocked by your phone provider. They’re very relucatant to book appointments by any other way, unless you are elligible for mail applications.</p>

<p>Premium rate numbers were blocked from my phone, so i had to use a mobile.</p>

<p>I got my visa a few days ago, so everything worked out great.</p>
