I failed homeroom...

My school has a senior portfolio that is comprised of a series of best works, summative letters, and a presentation. Our best works assignments are supposed to be turned in to our school’s online dropbox by midnight and last night I fell asleep at 9 for a “quick nap” after karate that turned into me sleeping until 3am. Our advocacy(basically homeroom) class grades are based on 100% submission of our best works and summative letters so i have officially failed advocacy. Will this have an affect on my college applications? I am mostly applying to UC’s and I heard that some will rescind admissions for any grade below a C (or a C). I am wondering if that is the case for pass/fail classes, like advocacy, that don’t factor into your gpa and are ridiculously unimportant(aren’t a-g), or if a fail is a fail and I just ruined my entire future by falling asleep. I am currently taking 5 ap classes and I have A’s and B’s in all of them.

Did you ask the teacher if you could turn your information in to him/her late (maybe for a few points off or something)? Is there even a teacher specifically for homeroom? My school doesn’t have a class like that xD

Its not an a-g…plus my hs/middle school never had one
