Grilled sweet corn with limejuice, butter & Old Bay seasoning.

Well, I wanted an ice cream cone today but I’m doing Weight Watchers and don’t care to spend those points. It was like spring here is why that craving came to me. Normally, I am not an ice cream person, LOL.

Even better than almonds in salad is pecans or walnuts, saut

VaBluebird - Have you tried Edy’s frozen fruit bars? I’m not familiar with points, but most have around 80cal. I’m fond of the coconut and raspberry. They saved me when I was working hard to change my eating habits last spring/summer.

You all are killing me with these yummy ideas for nuts to top my salads! I’m definitely going to give them a try.

I love the coconut ones.
That reminds me of the mango & chili pops Trader Joes used to have.
So good.

Thanks, blueiguana. I’ll look for them.

mathmom–creemees? There is nothing like them. Maple creemees and raspberry are my favorites, or raspberry and vanilla swirled or chocolate and vanilla swirled. I don’t think I’ve tried chocolate and raspberry swirled. Yum!

What is wrong with you people? Butter, creamed with some brown sugar. That’s it. That’s all I want. Ever.

or butter creamed with confectioners sugar. tastes like frosting. favorite childhood snack when mom wasn’t looking.

Finally. Someone who thinks like I do!!

Custard sauce – egg yolks, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla. Beat and heat until thick. I could live on stuff – pour it on raspberries and I would be in heaven. Just one problem. I am allergic to eggs, so… but I do crave it.

Very Happy, totally agree! Nothing better than butter and brown sugar, creamed to be nice and fluffy. Do you like hot buttered rum? Add a little spice and cream, hot water and rum. Yum!

Though warm tortillas with melted cheddar are to die for on a chilly night like this.

Oh, brown sugar and butter sounds heavenly. I succumbed this weekend to TWO giant Reese’s Easter bunnies and a pkg of Peeps.

Its spring here. They have sliced strawberries at the salad bar at the grocery store.

I am working in China.

I want a pizza and beer from Budapest. It is not quite the same here.

Creme brûlée. Yum! Meat patty and a red stripe beer! But only because it would be on a tropical beach lol!

great lakes mom, Our grocery store started stocking “raw” tortillas in the refrigerated section. You just lay them on a flat pan on med-hi heat and they “pouf” right up. With a little butter they are truly heavenly.

I do confess I have them for my supper occasionally when the boys are away :-).

great lakes mom, I’ll have some rum with my creamed butter and brown sugar. The rum will cut the sweetness just enough. :)

I take a package of turkey bacon, lay the strips out on parchment paper, bake, flip after a while, and when done remove the paper and rub bread on the liquified fat. Given each strip only has about 35 calories, the caloric hit is way less than the visceral enjoyment.
