<p>Obviously teachers want to know how you can relate to what they’re teaching. They’ve regurgitated their lessons so many times they don’t need you to just restate what they’ve said or what the book said. They want proof you read and understood the material, and how you can relate. </p>
<p>If it bugs you that much, talk to your teacher about it and ask why you received the grade you did. Don’t be whiney and say you deserve better. And get to know your teachers and their grading process, that’s extremely helpful.</p>
