I tend to skip posts that are a solid block of text, with no breaks for paragraphs.
What you have to say may be brilliant. But it’s not worth the hassle of trying to decipher it.
Yes, I don’t like the wall of text posts either. It is just too hard to pull out facts or details.
That’s the case in any written communication. Emails, letters, anything – you want short paragraphs so you can better follow the writer’s ideas. Dense paragraphs suggest less-than-clear thinking, and certainly less-than-concise writing.

Will cast a dissenting vote (well, it more agrees with teriwtt). IMO, I think its more helpful when someone says “I haven’t read all the posts”, because its an honest explanation that they may be repeating something (which happens all the time anyway) and I much more appreciate that a poster gives us the heads up that they have perhaps skimmed the hundreds of posts on a thread rather than coming in with either a very repetitive comment or something that is way of base. But they are perfectly entitled to post their comment or opinion, just as any of us are perfectly entitled to skip over it.
Who hasn’t had the experience of thinking “hey, I said that 20 posts ago and no one responded. Now another poster says the same thing and everyone agrees with him” or simililar? Happens all the time. But its ok. This is a community. If someone wants to share a thought because they read the OP or only read the last 10 posts of a long thread, that’s just fine. I prefer the honesty of someone giving us the heads up that they’ve skimmed the thread to someone who posts and its painfully obvious that they haven’t read the thread, misread/misunderstand the thread title and/or have no idea what the current discussion is about.
And I do skip over the massively long posts. Will wait til they make them into a short video .

As a very long time CC’er, I admit that when I see some posters icons, I skip over their posts, since I can almost predict now what they are going to say. Present company excepted.
