I just got a bunch of emails from universities where I didn't sign up for newsletters

Is it b/c of the box I checked/unchecked when I signed up for the SAT?
My mark was pretty low, only 2050, do they send out emails to everyone or something?
I got something from UChicago, Suffolk, and something else I can’t remember. - -

yea, I get emails too and trust me, it’s not because of scores because mine are low too LMAO.

I pretty much just hit ‘unsubscribe’ for each one. I don’t need emails telling me stuff I already know. (like how Columbia is need blind to Canadians, Mexicans, and Americans)

Yes, it is from that box you ticked.

They do see the score you got as part of a range (eg. 2000-2400). It does not mean anything whatsoever in terms of admissions if you get an email.
