<p>Tufts Wins $1M Grant to Train Advisers

Tufts University and the Massachusetts Campus Compact have won a $1 million grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation to pay recent graduates to be full-time advisers of low-income students in high school and community college. The College Advising Corps, modeled on a program at the University of Virginia, will pay a total of 45 Tufts graduates to encourage college enrollment among high-achieving students in low-income communities throughout the state.
