my goal is to get a job on wallstreet. i dont really like investment banking but consulting and trading sound good. the problem is family problems in highschool completely killed my class rank. right now im an hs senior ranked top third in my class with a 1490 on old sat’s and retaking them in a few weeks.

i wanted to know if anyone has any ideas how i can end up on wallstreet. my initial thought was to do good senior year and freshmen year at college and try to transfer but this might be too risky. transferring from my state school(rutgers) to a school like brown, uchicago, or cornell seems like it would be hard… especially since getting a high GPA in my major(physics) would not be easy. my other idea was to go to a decent business school(kelley) or large school like UIUC or BU and pray…that also seems too risky.

im wondering what you guys think is my best bet

thanks!
