I Need Help With Senior Year Classes

I took easy classes during my first 3 years of high school and did mediocre, so I want to step it up senior year. I want to look appealing to colleges but I don’t want to be overwhelmed. I took Geosystems this year, so I’ll be needing a lab science class next year. Here’s what I’m deciding between for next year:
1)Honors gov or AP gov
2)English 12 or English 12 honors
3)AP statistics or pre-calculus
4)APES, AP biology, or physics
5)Economics, AP Econ, or I can take Econ over the summer and free up this class slot.
6)French 3 (this one’s a given)
7)Optional, but will probably be an elective or lab science.

I don’t know your transcript so far, but based on your history of getting mediocre grades in easy classes it would be a good idea to avoid AP. Those classes move really fast and jam a lot of info into a short amount of time. That said, AP Gov is probably the easiest. If you’ve never taken an honors course before, try just one. It’s better to get amazing grades in lower level classes than do badly in higher level classes. Good luck!
