<p>kicks me off after I have written a post. It does give me the welcome sign but I will post a replay and it gets lost! Then I have to sign in again :(.</p>

<p>Try a different browser and/or clean out your internet cache.</p>
<p>when you sign in, there is a box that says something like, remain logged in, click on that before you submit , that should do it</p>
<p>I have trouble sometimes when I sign in, then write a long post. It makes me sign in again, and if I hit the “proceed” button (I think that is what is says…), I lose my post. If I am patient and let it redirect me, then my post is still there.</p>
<p>If you use the post preview function, then your writings will not be lost even when CC times out.</p>

<p>Chrome seems to be more likely to post even if I’m bumped out and have to log in again after I hit the post button. Firefox was less forgiving about this.</p>
<p>Before you hit “Submit” or “Preview”, highlight and copy your post. If something untoward happens, you haven’t lost the post; you just paste it into the Reply box.</p>

<p>That’s what I do. I always copy a post prior to submitting (except very short posts such as this one). That way getting timed out is not a problem.</p>
