I think I'm the only one who thinks AP English is the hardest

AP Lit was definitely the hardest AP exam I’ve taken so far. The class itself isn’t bad - it’s mainly the volume of work which is difficult. The exam, though, is another story. You’ve really got to prep well for the essays if you want to be sure to ace them (especially the open essay), and the time limit on the multiple choice section can be pretty brutal.

That said, everyone does so bad on the exam so the curve is incredibly generous. I took it sophomore year and missed at least 10 multiple choice questions and completely bombed one of the essays, yet I still got a 5. So don’t worry too much; study hard and you’ll be just fine. If you’re having trouble with analysis, I’d really recommend this book. It’s really, really great for help with analyzing prose and poetry. It’s super in-depth, but really entertaining and easy to read.
