IB diploma?

Do US schools give you an advantage for taking the IB diploma? I’ve applied to UCB, MIT, Columbia, Cornell, and Northwestern, and I want to know how they see this thing. Here are the courses I’m taking, and predicted marks:

English A1 HL (6)
French B SL (5) (expect 6)
Spanish B SL (5)
Geography HL (5) (expect 6)
Physics HL (6) (expect 7)
Math Methods SL (completed last year, got 7)
TOK+EE=predicted 3

So I’ve been predicted 38, but I expect 40-41 because our teachers always avoid 7’s for HL courses.

This topic has come up quite often recently… you could try using the search function.
At the schools you listed you don’t get an “advantage” for taking the IB because they expect every applicant to have taken the most demanding courses available -the IB, APs, or a foreign program like the British A Levels.
