I’m a junior, so this year I will be taking IB Math Analysis (statistics) and in my senior year I’ll be taking IB Math Studies SL (aka IB Statistics and Intro to Differential Calculus). Does the latter count as a form of Pre-Calc? How much calculus do you actually learn in it? And should I take Pre-calc online, over next summer? The reason why I’m not taking IB Pre Calc is because the rest of my schedule is very rigorous (all AP and IB),the calc teacher is known for giving a LOT of homework, and math isn’t one of my strong points (though I get mostly A’s in math).
