iCloud...trying to get pics from my iPad to my son's MacBookPro

What am I doing wrong.

My pics automatically go to iCloud.

When I sign into iCloud on my son’s Mac, there isn’t an icon for the pics. What am I doing wrong or overlooking?

When you are in iPhoto, look on the left for the little flower icon that says “photo stream”. Click on that and see if they are there.

An oddity that really hasn’t been thought out yet for iCloud is that things are stored in each application’s separate spot. The really odd one is that it’s possible to print from Mail, save that to iCloud as a pdf and then not be able to get at it because Mail doesn’t have an a file storage place in iCloud that you can see. Oops. (This was only figured out a few days ago, AFAIK.) Another is that you can make a pdf in Pages but you can’t open it in Pages on your iPad because iOS treats pdf’s as part of iTunes or some other app. They need to figure this stuff out.

So as churchmusicmom says, you have to go to iPhoto and they should connected to that app.

Thanks, I’ll try that.
