I am currently taking ap human and as the test date is coming up, I am scare. I did kind of great(always A but most of the time thanks to the curve of 10%) during tests from the “An Intro to Human Geo” but once we start to review on Barron human book, I did horrible. Is it really that easy or Barron book just hard ?

In my opinion, the reason why the score is so low is that the students who take the test are predominantly freshman who have not developed the essay writing ability that is needed for a college level exam. You will find an even worse grade distribution for the AP World History exam for the same reason.

The course and the exam are inherently easy. Whether they are easy for a 14 year old is a different question.

I was feeling pretty confident about the course when I took it freshmen year, but then I ended up getting a 3 on it. It might be because of essay skills, but I actually felt like it was pretty easy when I was taking the test. Obviously I was wrong about that though, haha.

I slept through the class and got a 5. People say it’s easy because it is very easy. My friend said he was bored for the essays so he just wrote complete crap and now college board has his as example of what not to do. He still got a 5.

@Swaggyc how the heck did he screw up on the essay and still get a 5 ? Those 3 essays count for 2.5 points of the whole test.
