If I apply on June 20th, how long until I hear back?

Plan on applying June 20th, so how long until I hear back with the decision on if I get accepted or not???

Acceptances don’t come out until around the end of September/first week of October.

Awesome
What kind of SAT scores and GPA is needed to get the full tuition waiver at Pitt? And how soon after the admission notification will we know the amount of merit scholarship?
Thanks.

It really depends, but a good starting point is being UHC Eligible which is:

-Top 5% of your graduating class (or a significantly high GPA if you don’t have ranking)
-minimum 1400 M+CR SAT or 32 Composite ACT

If you are applying into A&S a majority of the scholarships available to you will be from UHC. If you apply to another school (Nursing and Engineering come to mind) there are additional scholarships that those schools provide to their students. SSOE has a lot of alumni donations which are created into half/full tuition scholarships and even book scholarships. These scholarships can be stacked with the UHC scholarships as well.

That also depends. The scholarship committee only meets once a week (Friday I believe) to review applications. Therefore it could take a while for them to view yours depending on when you apply. They also only view applications sent on or before Jan. 15 for scholarships. Depending on the strength of your application you could hear back quickly (I heard within 2 weeks of my acceptance) or for a while (some people waited weeks to months).
