If I get accepted early, is there anyway I forgo 2nd sem (very special circumstance)

Hey. I have this really lofty dream to just quit school if I were accepted in early decision for my school of choice (Yale SCEA).

I know that this may seem impossible, but I must state that I only need 1.5 more credits to graduate (after this semester, I will be over by 2 credits). I am an international student, so being accepted will probably be something difficult. I haven’t been back to my home country for 6 years and I really would love to go back for a semester and do some good work (teach English perhaps?)

I know colleges get ticked off for dropping just a class, I don’t know what I could do in this situation. Would it worth a shot after I am admitted?

No. Your acceptance will most likely be revoked if you do not complete your senior year. First, you must graduate. Second, your application indicates that you will be taking courses second semester, and they will be basing their decision in part on that indication.

The only way this would work is if you state on your application itself that you are a January graduate.
