If I skip French 3/4 and go into 5/6, do I get credit?

<p>I’m in French 1/2 this year, as a sophomore, and am in my opinion behind on language. If I skip French 3/4, would I get credit for French 3/4 by passing a test?</p>

<p>In my school, unless you take the class, you don’t get credit. I think it’s like that in most schools. I’m not sure where you live. For example, if I wanted, I could take AP US History. If I pass, I would get a history credit in college, but on my high school transcripts, AP US history would not appear.</p>
